The Longest Day of Waiting

Life on earth is like a large platform where people show the highness or lowness of spirits of their lives. A queue in time bargaining for the much awaited satisfaction in life. Just like in litigation, we all undergone proceedings in order to determine our unalienable rights --from conception to birth--judgment has been made whether to preserve or to abandon a life. Is it the longest day of waiting to be born on this earth? Not until we begin to crawl and cry weakly; run and stumble many times; stutter while trying to express the feelings, and get the needed fostering from parents that we realize all these as part of the stages of life. Is it the longest day of molding life inside the house? Not until we are brought up learning under the doctrine of the school to get further knowledge that we see a brighter future. We struggled hard to academic discussion--from shapes, numbers, reading and into writing, we learned and been guided coherently. Is it the longest day of waiting for commendation? Not until we stepped out from our alma mater and into the challenging workforce that we feel the test of life. We faced many setbacks and blows but determination made us to choose to get on it until we gradually climb into the targeted rank. Is it the longest day of the tiring effort to make a living? Not until we retired from work and have seen the fruits of our effort that we begin to feel good enough. As growing old is inevitable, it is about changes in yourself and life. Eyesight begins to dim and hearing fails, agility has turned into weakness, and health deteriorated until you sigh, “It is time to lay all worries to rest and maneuver myself into an open fluorescent green field.”

For all we know, it is still not the end of waiting until we see our next generation coming into being and deserving to be treated as such.

Howl Imitation

I see a generation of hope

Who shall raise against the ever growing pain of death, bullying, loss of innocence  and even the internal struggle that takes the old to the top of a bed that awaits the final beat of your heart.

Who lifts the body of a child, mother, or any person when stricken down by overwhelming abuse

Who will give that shine of teeth, that will brighten up a cloudy day of the one's fallen

I see a generation of happiness

Who has the face that walks this earth and brings the biggest of men to tears when they have done wrong.

Who will take arms to abolish the pushing, pulling, of the human body.  the sicks and stones of bullying have become real figures in the life we live in.

Who will come to the side of the fallen when at school or home and tell those it's not right to bully for it is no just cause for anyone.

I see a generation of smiles

Who will comfort the sorrow, tears, pain, the feeling of a loved one here and gone in a blink of a moment

Who can help the deep dark hole that envelopes the dreary eyes and emotions of the once lost in the past

Who can be that pillar that still stands after everything around them falls to dust, the power that drives sorrow to die in a flash is hope that keeps their living light still bright.

I see continuous protection of hope and will raise against the ever beating of pains footsteps.

image of a pillow

Security of dreams, plush ball shape comfort that you rest upon.
A multiple entity sown together across the blank sky in clear days.

Stanza

Smiling faces staring into the hopes, hopping that we are happy
seeking such wisdom from darkness to light
watching and waiting for me
knowing that this is not goodbye
just a little
step closer to my true swagger.

People ask why swagger?
this emotion of joy, makes things happy
all you have to do is hope just a little
bring upon the beam of light
don't have to say goodbye
just look up to the sky and see me

you always spite me
you are ugly and live without swagger
then to whom it may concern goodbye.
keep looking up too see singhs of happy
see thee light
inside the dark that is still little.

you hope for very little
inside the heart with me
bring out great things of light
such things help increase swagger
witch in turn greatly increases happy
this happiness prevents ugly goodbye

you need not to say goodbye
you want very little
you need alot to be happy
you need to become more than me
you don't need swagger
you want to be the light

come hither into the light
flee into the darkness that is goodbye
we need not to worry about swagger
we want to have very little
in life but still be with me
in the end always find what is true happy

Come into the light, in order to seek what makes you little
this is good night but not goodbye, i need to see you in front of me
not for swagger but for my heart to be happy.

Ode to stuffed animals

They are stuffed
 full of fluff,
confronted with love
and care.

the first time
I lay eyes on you,
was at the shop
of built for stuffed toys

when we select you
we want you perfect
no rips,
no tears,
and no missing pieces.

the fur from your body
lay on the leathery
cold and bumpy car seat.
you are fuzzy,
warm, comforting,
and always there.

your image takes form
of animals, creatures, and imagination.
We keep you close to us for warmth,
and to protect us
from nightmares.

the cuteness you bring
is enough to satisfy any sad day.
we call you names
to give you meaning.

we then place you
in our rooms for the day,
you stay still until
we return.

As night draws near
and the day comes to a close,
we see an image
we most find comforting
in the stillness of the dark
on the bed you lay
guarding our belongings
from dangerous things.

we think of you as
a toy, but your much
much more than a toy
you are our stuffed animal
and nothing will change.

Litany

You are the wind and the willow,
the raven and the crow.
You are the happy,
and the light.
You are the clown,
and the hope.

However, you are not agony,
pain,
or sorrow.
And you are certainly not purgatory.
There is just no way that you are bad to the bones.

It is possible that you are confusing,
maybe even disturbing,
but you are not even close
to being annoying.

And a quick look in the mirror will show
that you are neither black
nor white.

It might interest you to know,
speaking of the plentiful imagery of the world,
that I jump with glee.

I also happen to be walking,
talking
and thinking.

I am also the counter
and the balance.
But don't worry, I'm not the agony and the pain.
You are still the wind and the willow.
You will always be the hope and the light,
not to mention the happy and--somehow--the angel.
